The Frontera Film Festival is a film festival made possible by the Audio Video Production teachers from both Eagle Pass High School and C.C. Winn High School. Frontera gets submissions from all across the state of Texas. The founder of this festival is C.C. Winn Audio Video Production teacher, Mr. Jessie F. Fuentes, dating back to 2010. The film competition is open to all 7th to 12th-grade students, college students, and non-lucrative indie producers. Frontera is sponsored by the Eagle Pass Independent School District Career and Technical Education Program.

Jessie F. Fuentes
Mr. Fuentes is the Frontera Film Festival's founder. He came up with the idea to start this festival here at Eagle Pass ISD. For 20 years he has been teaching AVP II & AVP III and has done an outstanding job. He has done so much for the Audio Video Production program at CC Winn. His students go more in-depth and learn how to develop and shoot a screenplay into a short film. They learn how to direct, act, record, and do many other things that help them get certified in this industry. |
